I work hard at health, fitness & nutrition. I work out primarily at home and share with you what I do, how I do it, what motivates me & what inspires me. I get into the nitty gritty of my trials & tribulations, barriers & obstacles. And when I realize a success, hard-won or otherwise, you'll be the first to know about it!

The timing of your blog is extremely coincidental,

I've just started focusing on posture after years of running with a mix of kyphosis and lordosis. I have weekly physio and have also taken up tai chi! Anyone reading this who fears they have poor posture should be careful, rounded shoulders cause a knock on effect, this ecentually pushes the small of your back further in and the natural curve of your spine further out. Eventually the natural (slight) S of your spine will become more pronoucned and this can cause discomfort.

Leaning your head and shoulders forward when you run also reduces your efficiency which will make you tire quicker. Not good for long distance runners.

Ha! Last time I checked I was real. I don't think I'm made of wood and my dad's name isn't Japetto. :) Make sure you're using the underscore _ when looking for me on twitter and leave off the @ if you're using the search function. Kasumi Gakure means "hiding in the mist." I enjoy practicing ninjutsu here in the states. Thanks for responding to my questions. Hope you're having a great day.

Thanks John. I tried to follow you on Twitter but it says that page doesn't exist... are you real? LOL

yes, definitely pay attn to your posture, glad my tips were helpful. As for my running routine I fluctuate between flat-path endurance running, endurance running with steep hills and stairwells, and HIIT like hillsprints and flat-path :30/:30 sprint/walk interval training.

thanks for the note.

Hey,

Enjoyed your vlog. Damn! Now I'm all paranoid about my posture! LOL I will be paying more attention to my shoulder and head alignment...throw in some extra rows ;) Was curious about your running routine. What's your running program? Again, I've been enjoying your blog.
