I work hard at health, fitness & nutrition. I work out primarily at home and share with you what I do, how I do it, what motivates me & what inspires me. I get into the nitty gritty of my trials & tribulations, barriers & obstacles. And when I realize a success, hard-won or otherwise, you'll be the first to know about it!

Hi Matt, yah I do those too. As I mentioned, I was trying to solve a problem on the fly that night and came up with that spur of the moment, and only once I woke up the next day with sore triceps did I think it worth sharing!! Lots of people are looking for cool ways they can use what they have available around the home to get in shape without having to invest in or store a bunch of equipment.

thanks for the input, your pairings are definitely great ones.

Dips are definitely a cool exercise.

But you seem to have a different pairing system than I have:
I pair pulling horizontally something in front of me towards my body (basically rowing variations) with pushing away from me horizontally (benchpress or pushup variations).
And I pair pulling vertically from above (lat-pulldown/chinup/...) with pushing vertically over my head (military press, handstand pushups, ...).
In short i combine backwards pulling with forwards pushing and downwards pulling with upwards pushing.
