I work hard at health, fitness & nutrition. I work out primarily at home and share with you what I do, how I do it, what motivates me & what inspires me. I get into the nitty gritty of my trials & tribulations, barriers & obstacles. And when I realize a success, hard-won or otherwise, you'll be the first to know about it!

Hey Jackie!

I've been skimming over your blog and run across this post about this great fruit, the pomegranate.
Nice video there. Good way not spot place :)
I would like to tell a little info here about this great fruit that almost a few of us know about. It's the spongy white pulp! I don't know why most of people just throw it away. Although it has many healthy benefits that many of us don't know. After doing a little search, this link can show you the beneifts of eating the white pulp, or the membrane: http://seasonalcooking.suite101.com/article.cfm/can_pomegranate_membrane_be_eaten

Yes, the membrane is usually bitter-tasting, but I'm used to it! I try to eat a bite of the membrane followed by a spoon of arils/seeds. WOW, I like that taste!

You better give it a try!

This post was mentioned on Reddit by Girlwithnoname: Pomegranates are a great healthy super-food. You should eat them often. If you don't because they're hard to peel, here's your solution....

thanks Lisa.

Is that a supplement? A liquid? A pill?

I PERSONALLY don't approve of supplements or ANYTHING processed, believing that all nutrition can come from whole, natural foods if you eat properly and from all food groups, etc. I just don't like what happens to food and the nutrition it contains once mankind starts processing the hell out of it!!!

:-)

shoot us a link to your product tho, so we can all make up our minds for ourselves!! thanks

I take my 1 medium pomegranate every day in my GENESIS. =) I avoid the pain of peeling it and Genesis has 30 bottles or red wine's worth of resveratrol in every one ounce as well. Some days I take more. =)
