I work hard at health, fitness & nutrition. I work out primarily at home and share with you what I do, how I do it, what motivates me & what inspires me. I get into the nitty gritty of my trials & tribulations, barriers & obstacles. And when I realize a success, hard-won or otherwise, you'll be the first to know about it!

You have a lot of great suggestions and I agree with what you are saying. I think it comes down to a matter of priorities for a lot of parents, be they working at home or in an office and THEN coming home to their second full-time job. But, you're right, there should be no excuses for being out of shape and setting and example of poor health for your children. I personally have gone through great lengths to maintain my exercise patterns (I am a marathon runner who dabbles in yoga, cycling and weight-lifting). It has always been worth it, even when I have been working full time and rising at 4:30am to run before taking my kids to school and myself to work. When I've been a stay-at-home parent, I have utilized my YMCA childcare and used a double running stroller, and gotten up early before my spouse went to work....whatever worked at the time is what I did. No excuses!
