I’m excited!!

I’m heading up to see my folks in a couple of days and spending the week.

We always have a lot of fun hanging out in the sunshine at the seaside cabin, having dinners out and lots of late night chats over a few too many cocktails.

But that’s not the ONLY reason I’m excited.

I’m also excited cuz I’m going to use this week to take an extended break from the workout mania and steadfast good nutrition.

It’s time. I’m starting to feel a little burned out and have been experiencing a lot of excessively sore muscles with longer recovery times lately.Get Back On Track

Hey, it happens, and longer recovery times are needed once every few months.

But not only am I taking a physical rest… basically, while I’m away I’m gonna blow it off COMPLETELY.

Laziness, too much food, too much booze, the whole nine yards. “Screw it” I say… I want to have fun and I DESERVE to have fun.

Yep, I’m gonna get off track INTENTIONALLY! And I’m looking forward to it!

I know I’m going to gain weight. I’m not only EXPECTING it, I’m PLANNING it.

But I’m not too worried about gaining some ‘fun times’ weight or having it blow my fitness goals out of the water.

Because true success does NOT lie in STAYING ‘on track’ 100% of the time.

Nope, not even close.

But fat loss success DOES depend on doing something ELSE 100% of the time…

Remember: REAL success does NOT lie in STAYING on track 100% of the time.

But it DOES depend on getting BACK on track 100% of the time.

Enjoy your fun times, but don’t let them take you off track permanently.

After a fall off the track, just pick yourself up and get back on it quickly.

As long as you keep getting back on track and don’t give up, you will succeed.

Have a fit, fun and fantastic day.
