<p>Oh Wait!! I got that Title wrong!! It should say &#8220;Rest for the Weary&#8221; perhaps!!  </p>
<p>Sorry I&#8217;ve been gone so long everyone.  I burned out in a big way last week and went away to recuperate.  Rest is AS important to your workout routines (and mental health) as the working out part is&#8230; and even though I personally tend to lose sight of that fact and just keep plugging away at my regimes, I hit the wall last week so took several days to recharge.  </p>
<p>It felt great, but as of today am officially bouncing off the walls because I&#8217;m having endorphin withdrawal, so back to it!!  I felt a lot better today while doing my weights routine.  So the rest worked well!!</p>

<p>Hey everyone&#8230; how&#8217;s it going?  Hope your weekend has been excellent&#8230; mine&#8217;s been fun.  Got to babysit the nephews ALL&#8230; BY&#8230; MY&#8230;SELF this weekend&#8230; it had its good moments, and its harrowing moments!! LOL.  But, I digress!!  The weekend has been fun overall.  </p>
<p>Anyway, I got to thinking some more about those fabulous <a href="http://www.girlwithnoname.com/2009/06/fantastic-healthy-oatmeal-recipe/">Cottage Cheese Oatmeal Pancakes</a> from my post last week and I wondered&#8230; would they be good with blueberries mixed in? I&#8217;ve never had luck making pancakes with blueberries because there always seems to be some blueberries too close to the top that burn too much while the batter isn&#8217;t quite cooked through, so dunno&#8230; I mean this batter is way different from the traditional stuff made from flour&#8230; so far I&#8217;ve had no problems with it cooking through perfectly every time.. besides, I almost want to believe that it wouldn&#8217;t matter if it doesn&#8217;t cook through all the way because its OATMEAL and COTTAGE CHEESE, so it won&#8217;t wind up being that weird mushy middle if its not cooked through all the way, right?  It will just be creamy thanks to the cheese&#8230; plus I&#8217;m wondering if its better to BLEND the blueberries in with the other ingredients, in the blender and make blueberry flavoured batter?  or better to just toss them into the already blended mixture whole?  </p>
<p>Also, there&#8217;s a good chance that the finger I injured a few weeks ago actually IS broken.  sigh&#8230; off to the Doctor I go&#8230; not so impressed, but I&#8217;m sick of babying it&#8230; especially if it isn&#8217;t gonna get better by itself. </p>

<p>ok, so after I recorded this video I decided to try the blueberry version of the pancakes&#8230; I split the difference&#8230; I threw a handful of whole blueberries into the blender after the blending was done and pulsed it three times just to chop them a bit but not blend them into puree.  </p>
<p>The conclusion?    <strong>OUTSTANDINGLY DELICIOUS!!! </strong></p>
<p>mmmm  mmmmm!  I highly recommend you give it a try.  Wow!!  </p>
<p>I also think they&#8217;d be totally fine with the blueberries just tossed in whole.  There were a few blueberries that didn&#8217;t get chopped in my three pulses and everything came out perfectly (except for the one pancake I burnt slightly because I was too busy writing this blog to pay attention to the frying pan! haha.. oops)</p>

Its obvious isn&#8217;t it, that this one is really great for Weight Training?  I mean how much more motivational can a song about being a Tower of Strength be?  LOL)  Enjoy, its a great one!:<br />
