I made a commitment to myself on the weekend to get a good hard workout in on Sunday because on Tuesday I wouldn’t be able to. So I changed it up so I wouldn’t have too many days off in one week.

Then a friend invited me to a late brunch on Sunday.Commit

Did I bail on my first commitment?

Of course not! That ain’t cool.

So what if that first commitment was ‘only’ to myself? If it was a good friend I wouldn’t have bailed.

Why should I treat MYSELF any different?

I should be able to count on myself JUST as much as any of my friends should be able to count on me.

Are you on a mobile device? You probably can’t see the video, can you? If not, watch it on YouTube here:
First Committments Should Always Come First

Yah, I skipped brunch.

As much as I would have loved to go and be social and eat yummy food, it just wasn’t the right thing to do, to bail on myself like that.

YOU ARE YOUR OWN BEST FRIEND !

Treat yourself as such.

No bailing out on the plans you made with your best friend.

And especially not at the last minute. No matter HOW awesome the other invitation sounds.

It just isn’t cool …

Always keep your commitments. Always be good for your word. It’s the mark of a quality human being.

Listen, once you have this kinda thinking in the bag, the rest of the steps for getting in great shape just fall into place.

THEY REALLY DO !

Have a fit, fun and fantastic day.
